Site hacked…
Sorry for the weird site, the past day or so. My site was hacked and I was trying to lock it down. Thankfully the person was nice enough to just change a couple files and didn’t touch the content so I was able to restore it back. Did make me aware of a few vulnerabilities though that I’m working to fix, so hopefully won’t happen again anytime soon.
Hello Mike, sorry for the late reply. It looks like you got your site back. I was surprised to see my site hacked too. I went to the database and change the username password so I can access the dashboard. I’m just glad the hacker didn’t do anything destructive. Anyways, hope you got your security straightened out. By the way, nice travel photos.
Ya that’s what I ended up doing too. I had forgotten about a lot of the mysql database stuff so got a little refresher course hahah then just reinstalled my theme and was able to restore the site.
I think it was maybe my permissions on directories and files that let him get in. Hopefully fixed now though. Glad you like the photos!
